The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requires all providers to complete the opioid safety training on VA’s VHA Pain Management page.
Access Opioid Safety Initiative Training
- Create a VHA TRAIN account
- Watch the tutorial, How to Complete your TRAIN Profile. and ensure your profile is set up under the correct group: VHACCP.

- Reserve approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.
